General Information
Hobo Safe Camp Ramblings from the Ether Road is a quarterly magazine, open for submissions year round for poetry, short fiction, flash fiction, and digital visual art. Issue 1 is set to be released March 20, 2018.
We do not accept any previously published work (this does not include your own blog or website). We do accept unsolicited submissions and all rights will remain with the author upon publication.
Please read the guidelines below before submitting.
Guidelines
- Please submit no more than two fiction pieces and six poems.
- As for art, please keep it to six pieces, all photos must be at least 300 dpi.
- Keep the word count under 2,500 for fiction, 700 for flash fiction. If it goes slightly over that's fine.
- Any readable font is acceptable.
- We prefer you submit your work as a file (doc., word, pdf). If you need to send the file in a different format, that's fine, but these are preferred.
As a newborn literary magazine, we are unable to pay our contributors or give out contributor copies of the magazine at this time, but we can give you a giant air high-five and promote you. We'll have links to all our magazines on our blog, Instagram, and Twitter pages, as well as an authors/artists webpage on our website. We will also have a section in our magazines devoted to the authors and artists, complete with pictures (hope you're not camera shy), so you can briefly let the readers know who you are and where they can find you.
